Stewardship is an essential part of being a Christian. Every Christian is called to use the resources they have been entrusted with to serve and glorify God. Stewardship is an opportunity for us to examine our values and priorities – and attitude of gratitude. At St. Sarkis, there is an even more important goal: we need to honor our past, serve the present, and provide for our future.
Your stewardship committee’s one hope is that your support for our Armenian church comes from a profound sense of gratitude and joy for all you receive through your relationship with God.
We each have different motivations and capacities for giving, and every gift and pledge is gratefully received. Your stewardship committee’s one hope is that your support for our ministries comes from a profound sense of gratitude and joy for all you receive through your relationship with God and the members and friends of our church.
We have been emphasizing our role as “stewards” before God, our Creator and our Redeemer. As God’s renewed image, He calls us to consider what it means for us to live based upon gratitude for all He has done and will do for us. In fact, our response in faith to follow Him signifies to all that He makes His claim upon our lives.
Through your contribution to our church we are able to keep our doors open to fulfill God’s mission in the world through our Church community here in Charlotte. Often, by His grace, God calls us to step back, re-evaluate our lives, and once more commit ourselves to Him.
Join the St. Sarkis Stewardship family today to help us keep our doors open in order to change the lives of God’s children in our community and beyond. Please prayerfully consider what you may give. Your sacrifice, your desire to be God’s stewards will truly open the door of faith to those who need it most.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
May God bless you for your support.
